Escort Addiction
Escort addiction is now being recognised as a serious addiction in 2012. There are gentlemen out there who are addicted to hiring escort services. the demographic is actually quite diverse and widespread. From young single men, to men in relationships, men who are married, newly or long term and recently divorced men. The problem can stem from relationship breakdowns were guys are finding it hard or they may feel their partner or wife is not showing them enough affection. To single guys who do not have the confidence to meet women or the time to meet women. Companionship is a natural human need. So it can start off as a new daring venture to embark on escort services, then many men find that is the focal part of their lives and have to book escorts everyday to feel some form of accomplishment.
It has been known for men to end up bankrupt. Marriages and relationships to breakdown over such an addiction. Like any addiction the suffered often feel stigmatised or unable to gain help. With such an addiction not widely known to the public, the help services on offer may not be evident. So the condition often gets worse. Relationship counselling can help guys with the addiction get back on track with the relationship but they do not directly tackle the addiction.
There is nothing wrong doing things in moderation. Many gentlmen book escorts for social needs if they do not have a partner to go to a prestigious work do or simply they live such a hectic business orientated lifestyle, that meeting women is not high up the agenda and for their own personal companionship need, booking an escort so they can enjoy some company out to dinner at a newly opened restaurant is a viable solution.
There needs to be greater awareness on the subject of escort addiction as left untreated or worse unrecognised gentlemen could end up broke, out of pocket and depressed. If you find that you are becoming addicted to escorts and it is becoming a problem in your life and affecting it (and the lives of overs around you); speak to your GP and as much help as you can.
